About Us
We are a 100% volunteer 501c3 motivated to boost typical community outreach efforts by adding a meaningful creative spin to service projects and whenever possible – a dash of competition to take things up a notch. We believe you can make a difference while having fun and are here to guide you toward finding your own unique way to make it happen.
One person can make a difference, and together we can change the world!
How We Began

Project Change was born in 2008 when Beverly McAuley noticed a disconnect between the Architecture & Design community's creative talent and the unmet needs of local nonprofits. The question was simple: what if these two worlds were brought together? With help from family and a dedicated team, Project Change launched a Challenge Event pairing A&D teams with nonprofits — giving structure, introductions, and guidance before sending them off to devise creative solutions. What started as a one-time competition quickly revealed itself to be something far greater than anyone had imagined.
The results surpassed every expectation, leaving a lasting and meaningful impact on the community.
OUR RESULTS
Project Change became a catalyst for creativity and community impact — sparking new programs, building lasting legacies, and solving long-standing challenges for organizations dedicated to restoring dignity and aid. The Challenge Event grew well beyond the Architecture & Design industry, welcoming participants of all ages and backgrounds and empowering people to discover their own ability to make a difference. Over time, Project Change expanded its scope far beyond the Challenge Event.
To date, we've completed over 300 projects, benefited 160 nonprofits, and engaged more than 1,000 volunteers!
