Team "Generation Gap" had fun in January hosting a movie night for Rose Estates, an assisted living community in Overland Park.

We enjoyed serving cookies and punch to 6-8 residents while we introduced ourselves and watched "Whale Rider". When the movie was over, the residents enjoyed discussing the movie with our team, especially the children. One woman in particular could have talked to the children all night. It seemed she didn't want us to leave. It was very fulfilling knowing we provided an evening of entertainment and socialization these people otherwise would not have enjoyed.

We look forward to future movie nights and closer relationships with our new friends.
