Who Are We?  
  Project Change is a Kansas City based not-for-profit organization that strives to raise awareness of local charities and those in need. We act as a vehicle, connecting an individual’s creativity, talent or skill to meet the challenges of their community. Through this grassroots effort we benefit multiple local non-profits with volunteers who are committed to making a positive change in our community.  
     
  The Main Event:  
  The Project Change Challenge Event is a team-based community service competition. Fifteen teams of local volunteers within the Architectural & Design, or other creative industries, are organized to compete for bragging rights and the chance to make a cash donation to their favorite charity. Teams are challenged to create and perform multiple community service projects within a 4-month period. They are empowered to “Be the Change they wish to see in the world”. - Mahatma Ghandi  
     
  Our Results:  
  Our 1st Annual Challenge Event in 2009 grew to 200 participating companies and more than 1,000 volunteers. We clothed 5,000, fed over 13,000, and raised close to $50,000 to benefit over 40 local charities and our local homeless and less fortunate.   History:  
  Project Change was formed in June by long-time sales representative Beverly McAuley who decided it was time to make a difference in her local community. Through friends, co-workers, clients and other willing sales representatives she created a network of people committed to the vision of Project Change. In just three short months the first event was planned and well on it’s way.  
     
  Mission Statement:  
  Project Change is committed to raising public awareness of charitable, service and environmental needs within our community. Demonstrating innovative and creative solutions for change, we simplify the act of giving. We aim to give a voice to those unheard and strive to bring hope and relief to those that go without.
